Tobacco manufacturers and packaging design groups say it is too early to judge how to react to the Government decision to bring forward the ban on tobacco advertising. Gallaher general manager for marketing Barry Jenner says, “We review our designs on a regular basis, but I don’t see any reason to change anything at this point.” The ban will now be in place by the end of the year.
