NE6 to grow with new directors

Newcastle graphics group NE6 is adding two directors to its nine-strong team, in a bid to build up the business.

James Acton, formerly a director of ad agency Robson Brown’s design department, joins as director on 5 July. He will be responsible for developing the corporate literature and annual report business.

Craig Hutton joins in August, having worked in the Far East on corporate literature and annual reports. Hutton will be design director at NE6.

“We want to be much more proactive about the future,” says David Coates, managing director of the two-year-old group. “We want to keep building our profile and the value of the business.”

NE6 has branded the packaging for rail company GNER’s revamped buffet service. Thirty items have been redesigned, along with promotional material.
