Design in Business Week opens with Enemies of Innovation on 26 October from 9.30-11.30am. Pierre-Yves Gerbeau, ex-Millennium Dome chief executive and Richard Seymour of Channel 4’s Better by Design are among those offering provocative debate on innovating for real to increase profits and improve business relations.

Gone Shopping – Combating Retail Crime takes place on 29 October. The event tackles the on-going problem of retail theft and how design can be used to improve life for Britain’s retailers. Presentations will highlight initiatives by designers and businesses to combat crime.
