DuPont Lycra gets right behind its bottomlifters

Stomach-flattening tights are nothing new (see DW 4 October), but those designed to ‘lift, separate and shape’ your bottom are not usually found in most people’s sock drawers.

However, manufacturer DuPont Lycra is hoping womankind’s everlasting quest for a pert bum will sell out its ‘Wonderbum tights’ when they launch late next year. Designed to give your bottom a cleavage similar to that achieved by a Wonderbra, the tights are topped with circles of different Lycra strengths.

The only snag? Everything droops when you take them off.
