New identities for Bedford arts organisations

Bluegreen Design Consultants has created two new identities for Bedford Borough Council’s arts organisations. The Bedford Museum and the Cecil Higgins Art Gallery next door both sport new identities.

The gallery’s marque is derived from elements from the William Burges Room, which celebrates the work of Victorian architect William Burges, says Tony Wheatley, who is director of the Bedford consultancy.

The identity for the Bedford Museum, situated on the site of the old castle, has a flag device made up of the letters B and M. Both logos went live last week.
