‘Warm’ look for fashion chain

The second outlet of a new designer chain opens in London’s South Molton Street on Saturday.

The chain, selling clothes by fashion designer Press & Bastyan, is backed by Karen Millen.

Interiors are by Brinkworth in London’s Bethnal Green. “It’s a bit more luxurious and geometric (than Karen Millen),” says consultancy partner Adam Brinkworth.

The first Press & Bastyan store opened in Glasgow last weekend. “It has tiled walls and green-grey suede fixtures,” says fashion designer Tonia Bastyan, “to give it a warm feel.” The identity is by freelance Simon Wolford.

Further shops are planned in Neal Street and King’s Road in London this season, and three or four more in the autumn.
