Virgin Atlantic launches its latest business class lounge this week, at Terminal 4 of New York’s JFK airport. Designed in-house by senior design manager Hilary Clark and senior designer Emma Lally, the 650m2 space features a waterfall that flows into a 27m pool running the length of the space, a bar with a 42-inch plasma screen, booths with iMacs and a cocktail lounge equipped with four Sony PlayStations. The urinals in the men’s toilets, by Bathroom Mania, are called Kisses and are shaped like ‘big red lips’.
The tournament is set to take place in Australia and New Zealand, and local artists have been engaged to help create the identity.
