On-screen graphics specialist Intro played host to 40 design students from Japan’s Shizuoka Design College this month, following a request from the college’s president.
Not without some trepidation, creative director Adrian Shaughnessy agreed. The students duly turned up and were given a presentation of Intro’s work.
‘The work was received with polite silence, but when Intro T-shirts and postcards were distributed, the previously sedate audience went wild with excitement, applauding and cheering,’ says Shaughnessy.
However, it was not just the merchandising which delighted the visitors. A few of them went missing, to be discovered in the broom cupboard photographing the mops. Now that’s getting under the skin of a project.
