Mirror Image has developed a new corporate identity for The Rosen Eye Centre in Manchester, in partnership with BMI Healthcare. The Hampshire consultancy’s brief was to create a look emphasising the scientific aspect of the centre’s work.
The private clinic was founded by eye surgeon Emanuel Rosen, who pioneered a technique of refractive surgery to correct eye problems.
Mirror Image creative director Tony Williams says he consciously avoided using an image of an eye. “This is not a ‘my eyes are healthy logo’, it is about presenting the precision techniques of the surgery. It needed to appear very dependable and have a long life span,” he says.
The logo is being applied to brochures, signage and stationery and will also form a basis for the centre’s advertising.
