Icelandic pop group Bellatrix is set to unveil a new identity created by London design group Flim Flam. It will be appearing on forthcoming singles, the band’s website and merchandising. The design group was asked to create a look for the band – this image will be developed on subsequent releases on its label, Fierce Panda. The next single by Bellatrix, ‘the girl with the sparkling eyes’ is released on 14 February and is also designed by Flim Flam. ‘Bellatrix wanted more than just a one-off cover design, so we produced a look that is clean, strong and instantly recognisable. The brief was to create an eye-catching logo which has immediate visual impact on a wide audience,’ says a spokesman for the design group. The band’s website is currently under construction by Slap.
