US TV network NBC’s Super Sports brand has a new identity designed by Twelve Stars.
NBC Super Sports supplies sports programming for NBC in Europe and Asia. The new identity is designed to position it as one of the key players in global sports broadcasting.
Launched as an on-air graphic identity, the logo has also been implemented on a promotional folder designed by Twelve Stars.
Twelve Stars’ president Nicolas de Santis says: “The NBC name and the peacock are one of the strongest brands in global broadcasting.” The peacock is retained, with “Super Sports” added in a typeface which was developed by the consultancy.
Twelve Stars also digitised the identity and produced storyboards for animation of the identity by a US specialist.
