Mega identity by Sampson Associates

South African media and entertainment conglomerate CNA Gallo has been relaunched as Millennium Entertainment Group Africa (Mega). Sampson Associates in Johannesburg carried out naming, identity and application.

Mega comprises the core businesses Gallo, Nu Metro and Exclusive Books, while CNA was sold off.

“Mega has to operate throughout Africa, while at the same time maintaining good relationships with its international partners and licenses such as Warner Music, PolyGram, Disney World and Twentieth Century Fox,” says Sampson creative director Brendan Finnegan. Finnegan, previously a consultant for McNeece, joined Sampson last summer.
