Richer praise comes with a richer lunch

Retail and customer service guru Julian Richer was on hand to provide a plug for design group Section D when it launched its retail report last week.

He is the man behind much of Asda’s customer service drive, and the founder of hi-fi chain Richer Sounds which has broken all records with its huge sales per square foot of showroom space.

Richer praised Section D’s work done for the recent launch of his fashion brand, and for its research and thinking contained in the report. He admitted, though, that he had no speech prepared. ‘I was invited along on the pretext of a spot of lunch,’ says Richer.
