Spin has created a Christmas campaign for Nike Europe that will run for six weeks across selected European stores.
The work will be applied across window and in-store graphics, shopping bags and gift wrap. Spin creative director Warren Beeby says the consultancy was briefed to ‘reinvent Christmas through sporting eyes’.
Spin has created a ‘less obvious’ typographic route, using typography ‘rooted in sport’ such as the Machine font associated with American football numbers, says Beeby. Messages like love, peace and joy have been adapted for local markets with the UK version love, peace and sprouts.
The consultancy, which is on the Nike roster, has worked with Nike for more than three years.
