Leading American sports manufacturer Nike is to open its long-awaited UK NikeTown store in central London in mid-July.
The 6300m2 site on the corner of Oxford Circus and Regent Street is the second European NikeTown, following Berlin, and has been designed in-house by Nike following initial involvement by Building Design Partnership.
According to a NikeTown spokeswoman, the six-storey shop will be “absolutely unique to London.
“It is about taking inspiration from sport in London and giving it an arena. There will be a large football element and it will provide an opportunity to show the full range of our products.”
