Give inexperienced graduates a chance

I am disgusted with the manner by which inexperienced graduates, are being treated by various companies. It is hard enough trying to get an interview when you have no previous experience, but when you do fall lucky some companies never get back in touch (or are never available).

I can not work for nothing as I have bills to pay, but this seems to be the expected way to gain the necessary experience. If companies are unsure of the risk, then why not set a small project to be completed at home before the interview.
