Cogapp creates Paris travel guide app for Dorling Kindersley

Cogapp has created the Dorling Kindersley Eyewitness Travel Guide to Paris iPad app, which is the first iPad app in DK’s Eyewitness range.

The app features content including cross-sections of buildings and 3D walking maps. A spokeswoman for DK says more iPad apps in the Eyewitness series ’are in the pipeline’.

The app will launch this month, and Cogapp has been working on the project since May. The consultancy has previously worked with DK on projects including CD-rom titles.

Rachel Adler, head of production at Cogapp, says, ’As with all DK titles, there is really beautiful photography and we wanted to tie that to something interactive and informative.’
