Ballet shop spins out look

Four IV has been appointed to redesign the interior of specialist dance and ballet shop Porselli in London’s Covent Garden.

The shop’s 100 years of Italian heritage will be reflected in the design, while bringing the Porselli image into this century, says a consultancy spokeswoman.

Design elements used for the work include a full-height glazed shopfront and a custom-designed merchandising system. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.

The new-look store will act as a prototype for a further two shops owned by the company, explains the spokeswoman.
