Twelve Stars goes for the Max

Soft drink Pepsi Max is launching a worldwide promotion, Club Pepsi Max, centred on an annual event in attractive locations. Brand identity is by the London design consultancy Twelve Stars.

The winners of Pepsi Max promotional competitions will be flown to the party, which in

the first instance will be held in Florida. Twelve Stars president Nicolas de Santis says that his consultancy won a trans-Atlantic pitch for the work “thanks to our … understanding of just what Max-ness represents”.

The new identity retains the Pepsi red, white and blue colour scheme but incorporates a touch of yellow. It will be implemented globally on cans, promotional material and advertising.

Bridgewater decision

The identity for Bridgewater Hall, Manchester’s new international concert venue, will be designed by either Drawing Board or Hemisphere, two of the five groups originally shortlisted for the appointment . A decision will be made in two weeks after a further interview.
