MetaDesign recruits two at top

MetaDesign London is boosting its design team with two new senior appointments. An additional senior non-design position is due to be announced shortly.

Nick Durrant comes in as head of interaction design in what MetaDesign managing director Robin Richmond describes as “an umbrella role” over the consultancy’s interactive projects. Durrant, who was born and educated in the UK, previously worked

in the US with Silicone Valley companies such as 280 Inc and Taligent Lab.

The London group is also looking to appoint Brian Switzer from MetaDesign Berlin. US-born Switzer, who previously worked on Audi, is expected to head up a team of three or four designers.
