The Photographers’ Gallery is showing work by Roman Signer and David Shrigley. Through photographs and video Signer captures action and explosions, while Shrigley’s work (pictured) focuses on hope, tragedy and perverse humour. Signer until 1 March and Shrigley until 8 March.

The Haiti exhibition by Bruce Gilden, opening on 1 February, offers a different view of photography, with work which reflects Caribbean culture via themes of passion, apathy, cruelty and depression. Until 31 March.
