Synergy opposition party is fishing for votes

Fishy goings-on at London group Synergy: staff are upset that their regular Friday lunch get togethers feature an inadequate supply of water-reared foodstuffs.

No clear reason has been established for either the sudden demands of the protesters – which are thought to be related to ancient Christian custom – or the general absence of fish.

‘We had sushi once and that is a kind of fish,’ says an unnamed senior graphics redhead at Synergy. ‘We usually get sandwiches from Pret A Manger or curry from the shop around the corner, but never fish,’ she added in protest.

Bread rolls are apparently in plentiful supply.
