History of Modern Design in the Home traces the origins of the modern movement in the late 1800s to a futuristic living and working space specially commissioned by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Opening on 1 November, the exhibition continues until next autumn.

Cassina at Aram shows designs from this year’s Cassina Collection, by French designer Patrick Jouin, until 7 November. The collection comprises a modular seating system, occasional table collection, dining table and a chair.

From 2-16 November Andrea Byrne’s solo exhibition will feature her Recent Paintings of flowers as well as images from her recent press campaign for Aquascutum.

Elsewhere, until 6 November, is a retrospective exhibition of work (pictured) by Mark ‘Wiganovsky’ Williams, subject leader for Camberwell College of Arts’ illustration degree course.

The Institute of Contemporary Arts is staging the first UK exhibition of Foreign Office Architects, on its tenth anniversary, from 5 November until 11 January.
