Escapades of double decadence

Sixty staff from The Partners had a jolly holiday at Hever Castle, Kent, where they shot clay pigeons, attempted archery, swam and played tennis to their hearts’ content.

The venue was secret for most Partners folk until they arrived – which took a while as they encountered a serious mishap while en route.

“We hired a double-decker bus, but the route wasn’t planned very well,” says a Partners spokeswoman.

When the bus approached a low bridge, it was simply too high to get under. “We had to reverse and find another route – which also had a low bridge,” explains the spokeswoman. The stricken bus was taken in hand by a kindly police car and finally made it. Is that why partner James Beveridge is making a gleeful V-sign over partner David Stuart’s head?
