Design Bridge has created the identity and direct marketing literature for BBC Alert, a new programme information service. It is the consultancy’s first project for the BBC.
“This is a brand new concept so it was vital to make sure the key messages were communicated in a clear way. [The logo] has the potential to be animated for TV, to be modified for each subject area,” says Design Bridge creative director Keren House.
“The support graphics are designed to be both dynamic and fun, but at the heart is a practical design which can live happily with the tight printing deadlines involved in keeping the information cards updated,” adds House.
The service is currently divided into health, wildlife and nature, and countries and culture.
