Amtico bought out

Specialist flooring designer and manufacturer The Amtico Company has been the subject of a 49m management buy-out from parent group Courtaulds.

Amtico, which works closely with design groups in retail and other commercial sectors, currently employs 418 staff, including a design team of between 6 and 10 people.

‘There are no redundancies,’ says an Amtico spokeswoman. ‘This is all about growth.’
