Horizon 2000 is a show of Simon Tarrant’s paintings and compact disc mobiles at Pentagram, from 11 November until 10 December.

Carol Vorderman has selected products which have a direct bearing on our everyday lives for the Conran Foundation Collection 1999. The collection, which reflects Vorderman’s dedication to motherhood and her career, runs until 5 December.

Fine artist Mark Davy and curator Calum Storrie are coordinating the multidisciplinary art project Futurecity, from 9 November until 15 January 2000. Architects, designers, artists, film-makers, sound artists and writers have been asked to make proposals for four sites along the Thames, east of Tower Bridge.
