Website designers need to heed recent e-commerce warnings, according to recent reports.

Unless designers assign Internet copyright to a client in writing, clients have no rights to make modifications to sites, employ others to modify them, or sue third parties copying sites, according to Michelle Armstrong, associate of Newcastle solicitor Ward Hadaway.
