Dead Sea Laboratories’ first anti-aging products make their UK debut this week, with naming, branding and packaging by Sieberthead.
The consultancy has also created the structural design of the jars for the Timeline brand.
Sieberthead was briefed to create designs that are simple and communicate ‘purity and efficacy’. ‘[Dead Sea Laboratories] asked us to put together a product that could compete more effectively in the cosmetics market,’ says a spokeswoman for the consultancy.
The concept is a departure from Dead Sea Laboratories’ existing range, branded Ahava, which is targeted at mixed-skin use. ‘This is a much more specific product aimed at an older skin,’ says the spokeswoman.
Timeline’s ingredients, like those of its sister brand, are sourced from the Dead Sea and selected desert plants.
The London consultancy won the work without a pitch. Timeline began its global rollout in Israel two weeks ago.
