The Art Man Max character is the life and soul of Colchester’s imminent arts week, injecting more personality into the promotional campaign than Richard Branson into his Virgin. The story is that poster star Max is a London-type arts guru, in Colchester for the week. Jean Miller Design designer Paul Marten says Max will be an eye-opener, attracting punters to events. The images are intended to reflect art and are treated to look as if they’ve been painted.
