Drawing in the audience at CSD

Chartered Society of Designers president Nick Jenkins was the focus of attention at the society’s annual dinner for its Midlands region.

He “excelled himself” with an after dinner talk on “nepotism and mistakes”, according to Frank Peters, the region’s chairman.

But Andy Davey can’t have listened to a word. He concentrated on Jenkins’ features, and proudly produced this caricature.

We called Davey, TKO’s principal, for comments. “I think I’ve heard of Nick Jenkins but I’ve certainly never met him. Who said I drew this? I’ll see him in court,” he retorted.

Peters reveals that the artist is, in fact, another Andy Davey – a cartoonist from Cambridge.
