Aram Designs won an eight-way tender for furniture and fittings at the new European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, designed by Sir Richard Rogers & Partners.

Aram Designs’ ú500 000 project will see modern classics in reception areas, offices, the library and court rooms.

UKII is supplying furniture for the reception areas at Citibank’s new Brussels offices. The contract, worth ú40 000, includes Occasional One tables by Jeremy Harvey and Frank Andrew, Ben chairs, also by Harvey, and North 9 seating by Neal Hollis. UKII director Gerry Millar says the policy of only using British designers is paying off. Now in its second year, UKII is establishing inroads in Europe.
