Faces of the Century: A Sainsbury’s Photographic Exhibition; Magic Moments; Diary

Faces of the Century: A Sainsbury’s Photographic Exhibition is an attempt to capture, through photography, significant images from the last 100 years of British history. Ten celebrities have nominated ten images from the archives of the National Portrait Gallery. The exhibition shows until 30 January.

Venue: Wolfson Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, St Martin’s Place, London WC2.

Sculptures, wall pieces and jewellery by Andrew Logan show until 30 January at Magic Moments. Logan uses mirrors to create glittering pieces.

Venue: The Warehouse Gallery, Brewery Arts Centre, Highgate, Kendal, Cumbria LA9 4HE.

Diary, from 15 January until 12 March, explores ways in which 30 contemporary artists have extended the notion of diary-making beyond the traditional journal.
