Keep those traditional graphic design skills alive

In agreement with Adrian St C Fewins’ letter (Letters, DW 10 December), graphic design is at risk from being undermined by computer experts.

I am in no way undermining Mac operators, computers or the technological successes that design has made for itself, but to stop the drawing and sketching processes would make for a dull world. I think that the design industry could slowly become it’s own worst enemy if the sketch pad disappears.

Let’s bring back the raw design skills that seem to be deteriorating.
