Windsor consultancy Hunter Design has created the format for the first retail outlet of confectionery store Hotel Chocolat. The shop in the Harlequin Centre in Watford will act as a pilot for a proposed chain of stores, as the luxury chocolate company seeks to develop from a mail order business. The interior design of the 74m2 shop is based on an entrance to a contemporary international hotel. Hunter Design has handled the branding and design for the store’s predecessor, ChocExpress, for eight years.
