999 parades work of Scottish students

Scottish colleges had the work of their fashion students shown off at the Clothes Show Scotland on a stand designed by Glasgow’s 999 Design Group.

The consultancy was chosen by Scottish Design to create the stand, which was sponsored by Marks & Spencer. 999 sponsored the award for winner of the best-designed stand, won by Wella and designed by Kendal Compton of The Moose Corporation.

“We were very excited at the whole Clothes Show concept and the international focus on the best of Scottish design,” says 999 director Richard Bissland.

The show, held at Glasgow’s Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre at the end of June, was a platform for the work of students from colleges including Glasgow School of Art.
