Beeline strip by Wolff Olins

Wolff Olins has developed a brand identity for Russian mobile telephone operator Beeline. The consultancy was appointed by Beeline parent company VimpelCom in August 2004, following a three-way, unpaid pitch.

According to Wolff Olins creative director Marina Willer, the group has created a flexible and cosmopolitan visual language that adapts Beeline’s existing stripes to illustrate different experiences.

The brand launches this week throughout Russia, but the ten-year-old company intends to expand its service to neighbouring CIS states, says Wolff Olins account director Sairah Ashman.
