Hot on the heels of confusion over Design Distillery supplying earth-moving equipment rather than design skills, the vehicle-monikered HGV Design has now been mistaken, not surprisingly, for a company offering lorry driving lessons.
But more comical still comes news that it has been confused with a supplier of pornographic videos. The design group had an irate woman on the phone accusing them of sending her father, aged 84, a video catalogue.
‘He couldn’t have received a mailing like that without asking for it,’ says HGV director Barbara Brown.
