Work of the French furniture designer, Jean Prouvé, to go on show at Vitra’s London showroom

The work of French furniture designer Jean Prouvé will be on show at German furniture manufacturer Vitra’s London showroom from 6 to 8 March, alongside seating and tables by Charles and Ray Eames.

The showcase is designed to introduce Prouvé’s work to a wider audience, according to Vitra, and follows its acquisition last year of the worldwide rights to the production and distribution of Prouvé designs.

The showcase coincides with the launch of a collection of Prouvé re-editions, which include the Standard chair from 1934, as well as chair designs Antony and Cité, and Prouvé’s tables.
