Gray leaves NatWest for Allen International

Former NatWest UK chief executive Martin Gray has joined retail and branding specialist Allen International as a non executive director. Malcolm Parkinson was appointed to the same position last year.

During his 35-year career with the bank, Gray was a plc board member and general manager of UK branch businesses, in addition to being chief executive. In his new advisory role, he will use his expertise to help the group and its clients, which include: ABN Amro, Garanti Bank (Istanbul), Budapest Bank, European American Bank in New York, Banco Real (Brazil) Deutsche Bank and Allied Irish.

Allen International chairman and managing director Michael Allen says, “He brings a wealth of experience to Allen International and will advise the board on both operational and strategic issues, as well as assisting us on major banking projects.”
