Infant, the new graphics arm of London-based consultancy Inflate, has created a revamped identity, as well as public and trade websites, for contemporary London furniture retailer 2021.
The sites will feature on-line ordering capabilities, and be visually-led. The consultancy has also modified 2021’s existing logo, to include stronger colours and more white space. Ed Knox, Infant managing director, says it is incorporating a furniture “timescale” on the website to enable consumers to seek out products by date or by designer.
Infant is also creating a website for parent company Inflate, which features new products previews, recent client projects and press coverage of Inflate. “The inclusion of features such as on-line sales can often complicate websites. Our aim was to simplify things for the user and keep the site clean, fun and functional,” says Knox.
In addition, Infant is also designing signage for the forthcoming Creative Britain exhibition to be held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome in October, in conjunction with Inflate.
