US recruitment giant MacTemps which operates Web design recruitment arm WebStaff, renamed yesterday as Aquent. The name was created by San Francisco company NameLab and is intended to have Greek or Latin connotations suggesting ‘not a follower’. The logo is by Bronner Slosberg Humphrey in the US. Aquent has worldwide sales of more than 80m.
