According to the Financial Times, waste paper merchants now pay over 170 for a tonne of office paper, double the price of a year ago. Prices for mixed paper waste can be 60 a tonne, up from a 7 minimum last year. Waste paper has become a desirable product and it seems the cowboys have cottoned on.

Perhaps it’s time to chain down those paper-filled bin liners.
