Student tries to pin up hopes on poster

Recipients of an unidentified poster may be pleased to hear that the conundrum is about to be solved. The subject is Paul Stafford, a graphic communications student in his final year at Loughborough University.

With a flexible brief for his final project, Stafford took the opportunity of killing two birds with one stone by using the project to also promote himself. Under the title of Getting my face around, the student sent more than 200 A2 portrait posters of himself to design consultancies around the country without details of who he is.

3’I wanted to cause a bit of a stir,’ explains Stafford. ‘The design groups may have binned it anyway, but I’m hoping that with it being anonymous, it may play in the back of their minds.’
