Alarm Clock by The Rumble Strips

Simon Gofton has created a vinyl-DVD hybrid for the release of Alarm Clock by The Rumble Strips. Record company Island claims the design of the reversible disc, which can be played at 33 RPM and comes in a ‘classic’ cardboard sleeve, is a world first. The Tappin Gofton co-founder is art directing all the band’s forthcoming releases, which come boxed in thick card CD cases mimicking vintage children’s picture books. Photography by Jonathan de Villiers features a giant eight-foot bass drum emblazoned with the band’s logo, also designed by Gofton.
