Thumb Design Partnership commissioned photographer Philip Gatward to create and shoot metal models to illustrate its design of the Abbey National Treasury Services annual report and accounts. The report had to reflect the client’s good financial performance over the past financial year and Thumb turned to the idea of metal to get across the idea of strength.
