The 1m Firbank Kempster-designed British pavilion at last month’s 50th Hanover Industry Fair in Germany is estimated to have secured 10m-worth of TV coverage alone. Praise for the pavilion’s design has come from exhibitors and the consultancy’s client, the Department of Trade and Industry. Around 80 000 people visited the pavilion, which housed exhibits designed by Firbank Kempster for dozens of UK companies, including GEC (pictured).

Fine Papers believes it has done the unthinkable with its website, designed by Paris consultancy Reflex. The site offers designers a chance to explore the varieties of paper in the supplier’s Hi-five range of fashion-led coloured papers. The website can be visited at http://www.hi5.co.uk.
