Carrow quits Partners for Glazer

Peter Carrow has quit his associate partner role at The Partners after ten years with the consultancy. Carrow is to join west London graphics group Glazer Design as creative director.

Carrow will join Glazer Design on Monday – he and the consultancy’s founder Ian Glazer worked together at Minale Tattersfield more than a decade ago.

The arrival of Carrow is signalled by the change of Glazer Design into a limited company. Glazer, Carrow and deputy creative director Debra Jason become directors.

Glazer has also recruited a designer, Dana Robertson from Silk Pearce, and a project manager, Karen Baxter from Torch.

Carrow had been an associate partner at The Partners for more than two years. He says: “After working for a large company for so long I have so much to offer a smaller company.

“I worked with Ian at Minale Tattersfield and I have been monitoring his interesting little business. My job will be to build on what is already there.”

Ian Glazer says the recruitment of Carrow and the new structure lay the foundations on which to build Glazer Design as “one of the premier design companies in the country”. The directorship for Jason is to reward her help in growing Glazer Design.

Glazer says he is now searching for a small packaging consultancy to bolt on to Glazer Design.

A spokeswoman for The Partners says no immediate promotions will follow Peter Carrow’s departure.
