FUTURE DATES

Taking place at the Business Design Centre on 20-22 May is The Creative Show. A variety of exhibitors will present a range of goods from new developments in photo imagery to design aids. There is also a comprehensive seminar programme. Speakers include Huntley Muir, Fuel, Peter Saville and Mary Portas.

Another event at the Business Design Centre is the Multimedia 97 show, between 17-19 June. Alongside the demonstrations of the latest multimedia technologies and tools, the show will have a conference programme which will address the relationship between traditional design values and new media.

The British Design and Art Direction President’s lectures start again at the beginning of June. Kicking off the series is Alan Fletcher on 3 June at 7.15pm at the Royal Geographical Society, Exhibition Road, London SW7. Fletcher began his career in New York at Fortune magazine in the Fifties. He moved back to London in the Sixties and formed Pentagram in the Seventies. In 1992 he left to go solo. Tickets always go fast, so book early.
