Barbican plans redevelopment

Minds Eye 3D Lighting and Alford Hall Monaghan Morris are working on plans to redevelop the public areas of the Barbican art centre as part of a feasibility study.

Commercial director Mark Taylor says that Barbican is exploring opportunities for updating public spaces, subject to the feasibility study and funding.

AHMM is responsible for masterplanning and interior design and Minds Eye for lighting strategy. The budget for the prospective lighting job alone is over £500 000.
